2011 – RECENT: STRUCTURAL GEOLOGIST

Field survey (structural geology and sedimentology): observations on Mesozoic to Miocene reservoir sections in the Western Desert of Egypt. Several surveys on the complete Paleozoic to Quaternary source rock, reservoir and seal units of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Participant and leader of field surveys, targeting the sub recent deformation of Zagros (Kurdistan Region of Iraq). Field surveys focusing on the Tertiary HC system of Tanzania Eastern coast.
Seismic (structural) interpretation, 2D/3D: Kuwait offshore (2D + 3D), 14 blocks in GoM (2D + 3D), India (2D), Kurdistan Region of Iraq (2D), Pakistan (2D), Thailand (2D), Papua New Guinea (3D), Tonga (3D).
Reservoir characterization and XRMI structural interpretation: complete structural geological characterization of 18 wells in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, plus their integration to the surface structural observations.
Block scale deformation model developed for >20 prospects and leads in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Fracture study: based on surface data collection, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Structural restoration of 2D sections in the Salt Range, Pakistan and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Secondment: complete surface to subsurface data integration, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

2006 – 2010: EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST

(NEW VENTURES AND ASSET EVALUATION, MOL PLC, HUNGARY)

Evaluation of 40+ Middle East assets, including data room visit, geological modeling, seismic evaluation, reserves estimation and risking, as well as inal management presentation.
Responsible for MOL’s geological model in Aqri-Bijell license area, including field mapping of the license area and surrounding key sections, seismic interpretation and reserves estimation, thermal maturity modeling, and planning of Bijell-1 and Bekhme-1 wells; participation in geological control of Shaikan-1 and Bijell-1 wells and well to well correlation of them.
Responsible for the geological part of the Company’s Kurdistan appraisal program.
Field survey of the Batinah / Hawasinah area, East Rub al Khali area (Oman).
Field survey on the Margala and Margala North areas (Pakistan).
